This might be the wrong place to post this but here goes: I'm trying to
use ViTables to view hdf5 files on 64bit Windows 10. I installed it as
part of the python(x,y) distribution (2.7.10.) I can't get the ViTables
application to run. I click on the icon for the app, or double click an
h5 file and nothing happens. When that didn't work, I downloaded and
installed vitables-2.2-1_py27. Still no luck. Has anyone else seen this
on Windows 10? Or is there a better way to inspect hdf5 files? I'm about
to give up and pickle the data set instead.
